Plant quarantine for imported goods:
This type is items of plant origin that are normally regulated in Circular 15/2018/TT-BNNPTNT. You can look up information in the appendix below to see which items need plant quarantine.

Import plant quarantine process:
Step 1. Declare dossier on the National Single Window https://vnsw.gov.vn

Step 2. Prepare dossier for plant quarantine, inspection of animal feed quality
The quarantine dossier includes the following documents:
Import dossier (commercial contract, commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading) Plant quarantine registration (printed from the declaration on the National Single Window) Phytosanitary certificate from the exporting country (original) Import plant quarantine permit (if any; original or copy) Import customs declaration (not necessary in the dossier, but better to prepare in advance for future customs clearance) Internal standard: This is the declaration made by the enterprise on the quality, food safety, packaging of the product.
Step 3. Submit paper dossier at the Plant Quarantine Sub-Department
When you have the above documents, there are two options: one is to take the dossier directly to the Plant Quarantine Sub-Department for direct submission; two is to send it by post to the Plant Quarantine Sub-Department.
After receiving the dossier, the quarantine side will stamp confirmation on the dossier and return the registration form that the enterprise registered above and return it to the enterprise.
